Upper Franconia – a strong Bavarian region
In Bavaria, more than 1,000 specialised, predominantly mid‑sized MedTech companies and suppliers generate around 10 billion euros annually. This corresponds to over 3% of global medical technology production proudly bearing the quality seal “Made in Bavaria”.
Upper Franconia, a hidden hotspot, is home to many companies in the medical technology sector. Specialised universities and colleges within the TechnologieAllianzOberfranken (TAO) complement the region’s dense network of companies. The close collaboration between research and industry facilitates the targeted development of innovative products. The Medical Valley cluster located in the immediate vicinity supports companies in developing and certifying new products and facilitates connections with regional research institutions. Terms of Participation
Germany Trade & Invest will cover the costs for the whole programme which includes airport transfers and networking events. Travel and accommodation costs are the responsibility of the delegate.
